Droga pod Reglami Trail

A walking route at the foot of the Western Tatras, connecting all entrances to montane valleys on the section between Kuźnice and the Chochołowska Valley. The entire route is quite long (approx. 4 h, distance approx. 14 km), but it is very often used as an access road between the valleys The route leads under a montane forest, so it has virtually no views of the mountains, but in places there are views of the Gubałowskie Range and Zakopane. Trail color: black - green Walking time: 3 h 50 min (one way) We start the trip in Kuźnice, from where we follow the black signs west, initially through the streets of Zakopane. After 40 minutes we reach the ski jumps on Wielka Krokiew. Behind the ski jump we head towards the forest. After 20 minutes of a pleasant walk, we reach the outlet of the Biały Valley. Another 20 minutes of hiking takes us along a forest path to the Ku Dziurze Valley. On the way we pass the beautiful Spadowiec Waterfall. If our goal is only Droga Pod Reglami, it is worth visiting the Ku Dziurze Valley. The blue trail leading along it leads us to the Dziura Cave, which is open to individual visits. Crossing the valley in both directions takes approximately 45 minutes. The rest of the road does not change its character, we continue to walk along a wide forest track, alternating up and down. After 5 minutes we reach the outlet of the Strążyska Valley, and after another 30 minutes - to Dolinka za Bramką. The valley behind Bramką is very charming and not very popular, so we also recommend visiting it during a trip. It takes an additional 45 minutes to cross the entire valley in both directions. The next 15 minutes of walking takes us to Gronik, where the outlet of the Mała Łąka Valley is located. We continue walking through the forest, and after 35 minutes we reach the entrance to Staniki Żleb, leading to Przysłup Miętusi. Then, in 15 minutes we reach Kir, where the entrance to the Kościeliska Valley is located. Here we change the color of the trail to green, and it changes its character for a moment, as we walk along the sidewalk, and then we go down again to the route with glades and forest. 25 minutes from Kir there is the outlet of the Lejowa Valley. The last section also lasts 25 minutes and takes us to Siwa Polana, which is the entrance to the Chochołowska Valley. The return journey takes 3 hours 55 minutes.
