A good option for a short trip, also suitable for smaller children and people with weaker fitness, to a montane peak in the Western Tatras. There are no technical difficulties on the route, and from the top there are beautiful views of Kuźnice and the surrounding peaks.
Trail color: blue - green
Walking time: 50 min (up)
Highest point: Nosal 1206 m above sea level
We start the trip in Kuźnice, where we head east following the blue and green signs. At the crossroads of the trails, we choose green signs and stick to this color until the end of the trip. After about 30 minutes we reach Nosalowa Przełęcz. The trail continues along a forest path, only at the end there are easy rock formations to overcome. After another 20 minutes, we reach the top, from where there is a picturesque view of the Polish part of the Tatra Mountains, including: to Giewont, Czerwone Wierchy, Kasprowy Wierch, or Orla Perć.
From the peak you can go down the same road or along the green trail towards the center of Zakopane. You can extend the trip and visit Kopieniec Wielki. To do this, from the Nosalowa Pass, follow the yellow trail to Polana Olczyska (20 min), and then continue the hike following the green signs leading to Polana pod Kopieniec and the peak of Kopieniec Wielki (55 min). It is definitely worth considering this option, because the views from Kopieniec Wielki are equally beautiful, and the peak itself is located in the High Tatras.
