Kopa Kondracka Trail

A shorter proposition thanks to which you can taste the charm of Czerwone Wierchy, with less time and effort. The trip is suitable for people with cars, because it starts and ends in the same place. Kopa Kondracka is the lowest, but extremely beautiful peak in the Czerwone Wierchy massif, from where there are views of the Western Tatras and the High Tatras. Trail color: blue – green – red – yellow – blue Walking time: 5 h 50 min (entire loop) Highest point: Kopa Kondracka 2122 m above sea level We start the trip in Kuźnice, where we follow the rocky road south, following the blue signs. On the way we pass the gate of the Albertine convent. After about 35 minutes, we reach the scenic Kalatówki Glade, where crocuses bloom in early spring. There is a building of the PTTK mountain hotel in Kalatówki. Then the path enters the forest and for another 35 minutes we walk along the forest track, reaching the vast Hala Kondratowa, where there is a mountain shelter. From this point we change the color of the trail to green and hike in wide bends (1 h 15 min) to Przełęcz Pod Kopą Kondracka, where it is worth resting before the last approach to the peak. From the pass to the top of Kopa Kondracka we climb in another 20 minutes along the red trail. From Kopa Kondracka, we follow the yellow signs to Przełęcz Kondracka (45 min), from where we follow the blue trail towards Kuźnice, passing Hala Kondratowa and Kalatówki, known to us from the earlier stage of the trip (2 h 20 min).
